On August 6–7, 2026, the fourth two-day Continuing Medical Education (CME) module, “Dignified Aging: Cognitive Health and Dementia Management,” was held in the main auditorium of the A. Natishvili Institute of Morphology in Tbilisi, within the framework of the project “One More Step Toward Dignified Aging (Supporting the Development of a National Dementia Program).”

The educational module was led by Professor David Gigineishvili and Professor Nino Okribelashvili.

The two-day program focused on key aspects of cognitive health, early recognition of dementia, diagnosis, and dementia management. Particular attention was given to modern approaches to dementia care and the importance of collaboration among professionals from different specialties.

The module was attended by neurologists, psychiatrists, family physicians, as well as representatives of other specialties and participants interested in dementia-related issues.

This educational activity marked the fourth CME module conducted within the framework of the project and aims to enhance professional knowledge in the field of dementia and promote the implementation of modern approaches to dementia care in Georgia.
