The CME Program “Dignified Aging: Cognitive Health and Dementia Management” Receives Accreditation
By the decision of the Professional Development Council of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Activities Regulation Agency dated May 27, 2026, the 2-day Continuing Medical Education (CME) program entitled “Dignified Aging: Cognitive Health and Dementia Management”, submitted by the A. Zurabashvili Society of Georgian Psychiatrists, has been officially accredited (Accreditation No. 1364).
The program has been awarded 6 Type I CME credits and is intended for the following healthcare professionals:
- Psychiatrists
- Neurologists
- Family Medicine and Internal Medicine specialists
The course is scheduled to be held in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, and Telavi during 2026.
Importantly, participation in the course will be free of charge for all attendees this year, providing healthcare professionals with an excellent opportunity to expand their knowledge of cognitive health, the early recognition of dementia, and current approaches to dementia management.
