On July 15, 2026, Professor David Gigineishvili appeared as a guest on “Doctor’s Advice”, a segment of Imedi Day (Midday) on Imedi TV, hosted by Keti Asatiani.

During the program, Professor Gigineishvili discussed the importance of the early recognition of dementia, current approaches to dementia care and management, the need to increase public awareness, and the importance of supporting people living with dementia and their caregivers.

He also presented the project “One More Step Toward Dignified Aging (Supporting the Development of a National Dementia Program)”, highlighting its objectives and its contribution to raising awareness about dementia and supporting the development of a National Dementia Program in Georgia.
